Day 68: Shoal Lake to Gladstone

The day started foggy, but it became sunny with a few clouds and not as hot as the past few days. There was a nice tailwind.

There was a nice 6 to 10 foot paved shoulder on the Yellowhead Highway today between Shoal Lake and Neepwa. After that, it was mostly an 18 inch paved shoulder. There were 2 idiot drivers today who decided to pass oncoming traffic instead of waiting a few seconds when it would have been safe for me. I cannot say enough bad things about these jerks.

I stayed at Williams Park Campground ($15) in Gladstone. It was a nice grassy place.

I made a reservation at the Winnipeg Youth Hostel for tomorrow.
