Day 40: Eagle Plains to Engineer Creek Campground

I came through a storm shortly after I left in the morning. After that, the skies looked threatening at times, but it did not rain. The roads were a bit sloppy at first, but after the Ogilvie River, it was almost like pavement.

I stayed at Enginnering Creek Campgound. My plan is to go on to Tombstone Campground tomorrow. It's only 70 km from the end of the Dempster Highway. If the weather and the roads co-operate, I might try to make it to the end of the highway.

End point:

More fireweed.
