We did it! Under sunny skies, we made our way from Niles Illinois along the bike trails in Cook County to the McClory trail to the Kenosha Bike Trail, crossed town to the Petrifying Springs Biergarten, where a welcoming committee of Kenosha/Racine cyclists brought us cake! Lots more to share, but the main thing is we made it, with bodies, bikes and friendships all in tact.
