I do love cycling over in that country. Eastern Oregon is so amazing. That’s one downside to heading over to Europe every spring and fall like we’re tending to do now - spring especially is wonderful there and along the Columbia Gorge. One of these years we should stick around.

You make a good point. They’re such fine words that I suppose I wanted to reuse them. Alternatively, I could have said we were pausing here to catch our breath on the climb into the Horse Heaven Hills.
1 year agoThanks for prompting me to reread these short posts again. These were all training rides in the spring of 2015, preparing for our tour of the French Alps. Looking back now, 2013 thru 2015 were really the best of the best for us. We were never this strong again.
