Looks as if you have a wonderful time planned. Think you may be on the same cruise out of Porto as us. It would be an extraordinary cycle blaze meet up if you are. Ours is with Emerald starting 25th May
I LOVE Verona! I always recommend it to people who want to do something other than Rome / Florence / Venice when in Italy.

2 days agoYour pics, as always are terrific. The photo of the Dolomites blew all my preconceptions out of the water. For some reason I had pictured them as forbidding and gray and rocky, but they are anything but that. Just beautiful. I will be interested in your observations on Lake Garda. I was with a good friend on Wednesday and her son is now in Italy, scouting out to buy a home on/near Lake Garda.

4 months agoWhen is this trip happening? We will be cycling south to north in Portugal March-ish, not home right now since we are cycling in Yucatan so cannot check more precisely, but if our paths happen to cross it would be fun to meet up with you. Glancing at your routes, though, it does seem unlikely.
